Hi my name is Mark and I have been in the online DVD business since 1997. I started out selling DVDs at various online auction houses like eBay, Amazon Auctions and Yahoo Auctions. In 1999 I launched the DVD Coupon Post which provided other online DVD retailers a channel to offer their promotions and coupons direct to consumers. For 2010 we have gone back to our roots and are reintroducing one of our original products the wholesale DVD Guide.

Banned From eBayThe original wholesale DVD guide was a three page word document that I sold on eBay in 1997 called The Secrets of eBay DVD sellers exposed. It sold really well. I didn’t have one complaint from anyone that bought it. In fact I had many thank you emails. However, shortly after I started selling the guide I also got what I would consider to be hate email. The emails weren’t from people who bought my guide. They were from people that were already selling DVDs on eBay. Most of them were expressions of anger that I had published all of their product sources. Eventually, so many sellers complained, eBay decided that I could no longer sell this guide in the DVD category because it wasn’t an actual DVD. Why did I get banned? I exposed where most of the big eBay sellers in the DVD category were purchasing their DVDs for resell from. Do you want to know where all of those auction sellers are buying all of their new unopened DVDs that you sell listed in their online are auctions are coming from? In a lot of the cases they, are not getting them from where you think they are.

Cassie from Indiana asks:Why should I buy your wholesale DVD guide and not one of the other ones I have seen advertised? I have over 10 years experience in the Home Video industry. I have sold DVDs at various online auction houses, had a small storefront, and owned and operated more than one business in the real world. All of this I believe makes me uniquely qualified to write this guide. Furthermore, this wholesale guide is being offered at a fraction of the cost of some of those other guides. Would you believe somebody was selling just one of the names on my major wholesaler’s lists for $50?
